Featured Recipe: Fresh Baked Asparagus

Side Dishes

I got this delicious recipe from my friend Grace.  It’s so easy but always draws rave reviews.

1½ # fresh asparagus (about 24 spears)  (rinse and remove tough ends)
salt
lemon pepper
3 T butter, melted

Place asparagus in one or two layers in baking dish. Drizzle on butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes at 300º.

Yield: 4 servings
Serving Size: about 6 spears
Units: 2
